Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to supply the components myself, or can you import them on my behalf?

We are fully flexible. We operate in two models:

Model 1: The client supplies the components, and we handle customs clearance under our own import authorization and bring them into production.

Model 2 (full service): Based on the client's specifications, we independently import the required components from any source, handle customs clearance and integrate them into production. The finished product is delivered directly to the client - with us taking full responsibility for the entire supply chain.

How are VAT and customs duties handled in this model? Do I, as the client, need to deal with this?

It depends on the agreed collaboration model. In a standard contract manufacturing scenario - where we remain the legal owner of the components and product until the point of sale - we handle all customs and tax obligations related to import and export.

The client receives the finished product along with an invoice - with no need to register as an importer or exporter. This significantly simplifies the entire process.

Does having in-house customs clearance at the facility result in frequent inspections that disrupt production?

Holding Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status significantly reduces the frequency of physical inspections. Customs and fiscal authorities focus on auditing our processes and documentation, which meet the highest standards.

Any goods inspections are carried out in an organized manner, in designated areas - minimizing any disruption to production continuity.

How do you manage different duty rates and restrictions (e.g. anti-dumping) for various components from different countries?

We have a dedicated, specialized team that continuously updates our internal tariff and regulatory database. Before every import, we verify the country of origin, CN code and any applicable trade measures. By getting involved early in the client's component sourcing process, we can advise on supply sources that minimize customs duties.

How is data protection and confidentiality handled, given that you have visibility into your clients' full costs and supply chains?

Confidentiality is at the core of our business model. We sign comprehensive Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Fiduciary Agreements with every client. We have internal procedures in place - covering data access and information separation between projects - that guarantee no details relating to one client are ever disclosed to another. We are legally and contractually bound to act as a trusted partner, not a competitor.

How can I make my products more price-competitive on international markets?

We handle customs cost optimization on behalf of our clients. As a professional partner, we issue certificates and declarations of origin (including EUR.1, ATR and REX), enabling access to zero or significantly reduced duty rates – directly improving the profitability and competitiveness of goods on international markets. Our experts continuously monitor international trade agreements to ensure the most favorable conditions and full utilization of available customs preferences in every case.

What customs and fiscal formalities do you handle on our behalf?

We hold AEOF certification, simplified procedure authorization, VGM and recognised premises status. This allows clearances to be carried out quickly, securely and without the need to present goods at a customs office.

AEOF is the EU's highest status confirming our security, reliability and operational excellence. As a trusted business partner, we carry out customs clearance directly at our facility – goods come straight under our supervision, reducing the logistics process to a minimum.

Recognised Places enable fast and secure customs clearance without the need to visit a customs office.

VGM authorization allows us to verify container weight using Method 2 indefinitely, without weighing goods during loading - we certify container mass ourselves, accelerating logistics and reducing costs for our clients.

What authorizations do you hold?

We hold AEOF certification, simplified procedure authorization, VGM and recognised premises status. This allows clearances to be carried out quickly, securely and without the need to present goods at a customs office.

Can you carry out customs clearance at your own facility?

Yes. Thanks to our recognised premises status, we can carry out customs clearance directly at our facility, significantly reducing time and simplifying the procedure

What are the advantages of using a simplified procedure?

The simplified procedure enables faster release of goods, reduces formalities, and eliminates the need to present the goods at a customs office. We handle the entire process on behalf of the client.

Do you help with product pricing?

Yes. We classify goods according to CN / TARIC, check import requirements, and determine applicable customs rates and additional measures.

Can you represent us in the customs authorities?

Yes. Upon receiving the appropriate authorizations, our specialists assume full responsibility for representing the client before customs and tax authorities, including handling declarations and control procedures.

How does the customs process work for your company?

Upon receiving the documents, we prepare the customs declaration, select the appropriate procedure, and carry out tariff classification. If necessary, we arrange an inspection of the goods, after which they are released. Thanks to the simplified procedure, the entire process is reduced to a minimum and typically takes around 1.5 hours.

Do you also organize imports?

Yes. We support the entire process - from sourcing suppliers and importing components to logistics, warehousing, and preparing goods for shipment after customs clearance.

What documents are required for customs clearance?

For customs clearance, the most commonly required documents are: an invoice, a bill of lading, a goods specification, and technical data. If a given product requires additional certificates or permits, we inform you in advance and assist in preparing them.

Do you handle the clearance of products from different industries?

Yes. We have extensive experience in checking industrial components, electronics, machine parts, assembly materials and many other product categories.
