The company "BIAZET" S.A. has received funding from the European Union for the implementation of the project entitled "Development of a new method for manufacturing silicone molds with increased operational durability at "BIAZET" S.A."

On October 3, 2025, BIAZET Joint-Stock Company signed an agreement on financing the project "Improving energy efficiency in BIAZET through the use of renewable energy sources". The project will be implemented under the action 3.01 environmental credit of the European Funds for a Modern Economy 2021-2027 program, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The project will include an investment in the construction of a state-of-the-art photovoltaic installation together with an energy storage system and an energy management system for the needs of the BIAZET s. a.production and storage facility.

The project scope includes:

  • installation of a 749.76 kW photovoltaic system on the roof of a building,
  • installation of a 749.94 kW photovoltaic plant on the ground,
  • construction of an energy storage facility with a nominal capacity of 500 kW and a nominal capacity of 1104 kWh,
  • installation of an energy management system to optimize energy production and consumption,
  • integration of installations with the existing energy infrastructure of the enterprise.

The total capacity of the photovoltaic installation will be 1.5 MW. The electricity generated in the RES system will be used for the company's own needs, and possible surpluses (up to a maximum of 20%) will be diverted to the grid.

The direct beneficiary of the project is BIAZET s. a.

Project goals:

  • improving the energy efficiency of BIAZET s. a.,
  • reduced demand for primary energy,
  • reducing CO2 emissions,

  • improving the energy security of the enterprise.

Project results:

  • creation of a photovoltaic plant with a total capacity of 1.5 MW,
  • commissioning of the 1104 kWh energy storage system,
  • increasing the energy self-sufficiency of the enterprise,
  • significant reduction in electricity purchase costs,
  • improving the stability of power supply to production processes,
  • reducing the negative impact on the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions,
  • improving the competitiveness of enterprises through the use of renewable energy technologies.
