Measurement / quality laboratories
We measure. We test. We analyze. We create quality.
We perform precise measurements of prototype and ongoing production components using state-of-the-art equipment, including a 3D optical scanner and a coordinate measuring machine (CMM).
Comprehensive project maintenance
Metrology Laboratory
Ability to perform precise measurements, including complex parts. This allows us to deliver reliable inspection data, eliminate the risk of dimensional errors and ensure part conformance with project requirements and quality standards.
Testing
Life testing of plastic parts and finished products. This allows us to confirm product durability and functionality, eliminate the risk of defects before serial production, and ensure compliance with technical requirements and quality standards.
Quality Control
Thanks to this, we eliminate defects at every stage of the process, ensure that the supplied components and products meet the requirements and maintain a stable level of quality at suppliers and in our own production.
How We Work
At Biazet, we rely on partnership and full transparency of the process. We consider each project individually, taking care of quality, timeliness and cost optimization.
1
Getting a sample together with the documentation
2
Choosing the optimal measurement method depending on the goal
3
Perform measurements and compare the results with a CAD model / drawing
4
Compliance assessment, report and recommendations
Why us?
Working with Biazet means ensuring that every stage - from project to delivery-is carried out with the utmost care. We are not only a manufacturer, but, above all, a technology partner who understands the requirements of the industry and the needs of the client.
Metrology Laboratory
The ability to perform accurate measurements, including complex parts.
Thanks to this, we provide reliable control data, eliminate the risk of dimensional errors, and ensure that parts meet project requirements and quality standards.
ISO 9001, 14 001
Standardization of labor.
In this way, we maintain the repetitive quality of our processes, meet international requirements in the field of quality and environmental management, and increase trust in the eyes of our customers and business partners.
Research & Development Capabilities
Customer support for the implementation of plastic components, packaging design, 2D and 3D drawing, certification.
This allows us to shorten time-to-market, optimize product design and functionality, ensure compliance with formal requirements and reduce costs associated with potential reworks at later stages.
Prototyping
In-house 3D printing and silicone mold preparation.
This allows us to rapidly validate design concepts, accelerate new product introduction, minimize trial production costs and enable early detection of potential design flaws.
People & Technical Capabilities
Managing technical changes.
This enables us to effectively implement changes to our processes and products, minimize the risk of downtime, maintain customer compliance, and optimize the costs associated with changes.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to perform a typical CMM measurement and get a report?
For a standard component with 10-20 functions to check, a full service (measurement + report) takes 1-2 business days. Urgent orders are completed within a few hours. The date is always specified after preliminary analysis of the drawing.
Can we upload only the 3D model (CAD), without the physical part?
No, we need a physical sample for the measurement. The CAD model, on the other hand, is necessary for us as a reference template so that we can generate a comparative report ("actual vs. nominal value"). Without CAD, we provide a report with absolute dimensions.
Why measure parts at all if they're coming out of the machine?
Machines can also break the rules. Our measurements are like an independent technical review, they give you confidence that each part-whether it's a prototype or part of a long series – is exactly what it should be. This prevents defects, complaints, and costly downtime.
How does a regular caliper differ from your measurement on a CMM machine?
The caliper measures individual dimensions with a certain margin of error, while the CMM is a high-precision robot that automatically measures tens or hundreds of points in 3D to the nearest thousandths of a millimeter in a few minutes. It shows not only the numbers, but also the entire shape and curvature of the parts.
What measuring instruments do you have?
Our measurement laboratory is equipped with a 3D optical scanner, a coordinate measuring machine (CMM), and an optical microscope
How does a 3D scanner differ from a CMM machine? When do you use which one?
These are two additional tools:
* We use CMM when maximum accuracy (up to microns) and specific point measurements are required
* The 3D scanner is used to quickly capture the entire shape, organic surfaces, or when a part is too soft/delicate to touch. CMM is more accurate, and the scanner is faster for full forms.
What should I do if the part doesn't meet the tolerances?
We offer a preliminary cause analysis (FA) and based on it indicate the most likely source of the problem (for example, mold wear, incorrect adjustment of injection parameters). This allows you to take targeted corrective actions.
What certificates do you have?
We hold ISO 9001:2025 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) certifications. We are also pursuing implementation and certification according to ISO 13485, the international standard for quality management systems in medical devices.
