The company "BIAZET" S.A. has received funding from the European Union for the implementation of the project entitled "Development of a new method for manufacturing silicone molds with increased operational durability at "BIAZET" S.A."
The main goal of the project is to develop a new method for producing silicone molds with increased operational durability.
The following activities are planned for the project::
- industrial research on the search for qualitative parameters of casting molds and technological tests involving traditional and modified polymer compositions
- industrial research to determine the final formula of silicone mass for the manufacture of casting molds, including operational tests of molds made from the most favorable polymer composition
- development of works to optimize the operational properties of polymer compounds in order to further increase the durability of molds, including technological tests in real conditions at the BIAZET enterprise
The investment will result in an increase in the service life of silicone molds from 20 to 35 cycles.
The results of the project will be directly used by BIAZET s.A., employees involved in the project, current and future contractors of the company using the manufactured elements.
